Frequently Asked Questions..
- What is your location? We’re conveniently located at 411 Great South Road, Ellerslie, Auckland, with easy access across the Auckland region and around 10 minutes from the CBD.
- Do you have a branch at Auckland Airport? Not at this stage. However, we can deliver the vehicle to Auckland Airport (or your preferred location) for a small delivery fee.
- How far are you from Auckland Airport? Approximately 20 minutes by taxi, depending on traffic. Are your vehicles comprehensively insured? Yes — all vehicles are fully insured.
- Can I arrange my own insurance cover? No. Our insurance policy does not allow independent customer-arranged cover. Do I have to pay a bond? Yes. We process a bond (pre-authorisation) at pick-up, typically on your credit card.
- How long does it take for the bond to be released? Once the vehicle is returned undamaged and with a full tank, we will cancel the pre-authorisation. Release times depend on your bank and can take up to 24 hours (or longer in some cases).
- Do I have to pay for fuel? Your vehicle will be supplied with a full tank and must be returned with a full tank.
- Do I need to clean the vehicle upon return? A full groom is not required. We simply ask that vehicles are returned clean and tidy with all rubbish removed. If additional cleaning is required, a grooming fee may apply.
- Is there a minimum age limit? Yes. The minimum age is 25 years.
- Can my partner drive the vehicle? Yes — provided they are 25 or over and hold a full driver’s licence.
- Are road tolls included in the daily rate? Yes. Road tolls are included in the daily rate.
- Do you have Roadside Assistance? Yes. Roadside Assistance is included as part of our insurance policy.
